(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTWAY SITUATED ON THE SOUTH WEST SIDE OF A4178 CASSIO ROAD AND THE SOUTH EAST SIDE OF A412 RICKMANSWORTH ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footway situated on the south west side of A4178 Cassio Road and the south east side of A412 Rickmansworth Road, Watford from a point in line with 'Burvale Court' north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 88m ("the Footway"). The subway situated beneath A412 Rickmansworth Road, the footway situated on the north west side of A412 Rickmansworth Road, the subway situated beneath A412 Rickmansworth Road and the footway situated on the south east side of A412 Rickmansworth Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footway.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THE GREEN, CROXLEY GREEN AND THE GREEN, CROXLEY GREEN/SARRATT ROAD, SARRATT) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-

1. that length of The Green, Croxley Green from its junction with Baldwins Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 271m.

An alternative route will be via Baldwins Lane, A412 Watford Road and The Green.

2. that length of The Green, Croxley Green/Sarratt Road, Sarratt from its junction with Baldwins Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 233m. An alternative route will be via Baldwins Lane, A412 (Watford Road/Scots Hilf Park Road), A404 (Chorleywood Road/Rickmansworth Road), Solesbridge Lane and Sarratt Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 31 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH SITUATED ON THE NORTH EAST SIDE OF NO.28 CAISHOWE ROAD, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated on the north east side of No.28 Caishowe Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Caishowe Road south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Bracken Close, a distance of approximately 101m ("the Footpath").

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south east side of Caishowe Road, the footway situated on the south west side of Oddesey Road, the footway situated on the north west side of Hartforde Road and the footpath situated on the north east side of Bracken Close or via the footway situated on the south east and north east sides of Caishowe Road, the footway situated on the north west side of Hartforde Road and the footway situated on the north east side of Bracken Close.

The Order is needed because development works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF DOG KENNEL LANE, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dog Kennel Lane, Chorleywood from a point in line with the southern boundary of 'Pendoggett Hall' north westwards for a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Dog Kennel Lane, Berry Lane, Valley Road, The Drive, A404 (Chorleywood Road/Rickmansworth Road) and Dog Kennel Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD AND SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Halsey Road, Watford from its junction with Rosslyn Road north eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. that length of Shepherds Road, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north eastwards to its junction with Cassiobury Park Avenue, a distance of approximately 295m.

An alternative route will be via A412 Rickmansworth Road and Cassiobury Park Avenue or via Cassiobury Park Avenue and A412 (Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road/Rickmansworth Road).

3. that length of Widgeon Way, Watford from its junction with Meriden Way north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with York Way, a distance of approximately 331m.

An alternative route will be via York Way and Meriden Way.

4. that length of Kelshall, Watford from its junction with Widgeon Way south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Westlea Avenue, a distance of approximately 119m.

An alternative route will be via Widgeon Way, York Way and Westlea Avenue.

5. that length of Fulford Grove, South Oxhey from its junction with its westernmost junction with Hayling Road northwards, north eastwards, eastwards, south eastwards and southwards to its easternmost junction with Hayling Road, a distance of approximately 592m.

An alternative route will be via Hayling Road

6. that length of Ravenscroft, Watford from its junction with Falcon Way southwards, south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 31 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of A412 Rickmansworth Road, Watford from its junction with the Ascot Road/A412 Watford Road roundabout north eastwards to its junction with A4178 Cassio Road, a distance of approximately 1683m. An alternative route will be via A412 (Watford Road/Scots Hill/Park Road/ Rectory Road/Uxbridge Road/Denham Way), the M25, A411 (Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue) and A412 (St Albans Road/Rickmansworth Road) or via A412 (Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road), A411 Hempstead Road, the M25, A404 (Rickmansworth Road/Chorleywood Road) and A412 (Park Road/Scots Hill/Watford Road) or via A412 (Watford Road/Scots Hill/ Park Road/Rectory Road), A404 (Riverside Drive/Church Street/London Road), A4145 (Moor Lane/Tolpits Lane/Hagden Lane/Vicarage Road) and A4178 (Fernley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road/Cassio Road) or via A4178 (Cassio Road/Merton Road/Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road), A4145 (Vicarage Road/ Hagden Lane/Tolpits Lane/Moor Lane), A404 (London Road/Church Street/ Riverside Drive) and A412 (Rectory Road/Park Road/Scots Hill/Rectory Road).

2. that length of Hagden Lane, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Whippendell Road, a distance of approximately 352m. An alternative route will be via A412 Rickmansworth Road, Ascot Road and Whippendell Road.

3. that length of Metropolitan Station Approach, Watford from its junction with A412 Rickmansworth Road north westwards to its junction with Manhattan Avenue, a distance of approximately 185 m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rousebarn Lane, Croxley Green from its junction with Fir Tree Hill south eastwards for a distance of approximately 70m ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Queenswood Crescent, Watford from a point in line with the south east boundary of No.45 Queenswood Crescent north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Queenswood Crescent, Sheepcot Lane and Queenswood Crescent.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Shepherds Lane, Chiltern Drive, Berry Lane and Shepherds Way.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Long Lane, Heronsgate from its junction with Stag Lane south eastwards to its junction with Stockport Road, a distance of approximately 530m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Heronsgate Road, Shire Lane, Chalfont Lane, Burtons Lane, Roughwood Lane, B4442 Nightingales Lane, Gorelands Lane, Chesham Lane, Rickmansworth Lane, Shire Lane, Hornhill Road, Woodland Road, A412 Denham Way and Long Lane. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF EVANS AVENUE/NORTH APPROACH, WATFORD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Evans Avenue/North Approach, Watford from its northernmost junction with Orbital Crescent north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 77m ("the length of Roads"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Evans Avenue, Leggatts Rise, Rushton Avenue, A41 North Western Avenue, A405 North Orbital Road and North Approach.

The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following length of footpath ("the Footpath") and public footpath ("the Public Footpath"):-

1. the footpath situated between Nos.39 and 41 Fern Way, Watford from its junction with Fern Way south eastwards to its junction with Watford Borough Public Footpath No.013, a distance of approximately 46m.

An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the east side of Fern Way, the footway situated on the south side of Briar Road, the footway situated on the south side of Appletree Walk, the footway situated on the north side of Cedar Wood Drive, the footway situated on the west side of Ash Close, the footpath situated on the north east side of No.7 Ash Close and the footpath situated between No.39 and No.41 Fern Way.

2. Watford Borough Public Footpath No.013 from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.41 Fern Way south eastwards for a distance of approximately 204m.

An alternative route will be via the footpath situated between Nos.39 and 41 Fern Way, the footway situated on the east side of Fern Way, the footway situated on the south side of Briar Road, the footway situated on the south side of Appletree Walk, the footway situated on the north side of Cedar Wood Drive, the footway situated on the west side of Ash Close and the footpath situated on the north east side of No.7 Ash Close.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN OTTERSPOOL WAY, WATFORD/BERRY GROVE LANE, BUSHEY) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Otterspool Way, Watford/Berry Grove Lane, Bushey from its junction with Park Avenue north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 967m ("the length of Roads"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Park Avenue, Bushey Mill Lane and Berry Grove Lane.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Roads whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads. (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON AERODROME WAY LEAVESDEN/WATFORD AND ASHFIELDS, WATFORD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Aerodrome Way, Leavesden/Watford from its junction with the A41 Gadeside/Dowding Way roundabout south eastwards to its junction with Ashfields, a distance of approximately 204m.

An alternative route will be via A41 (Gadeside/North Western Avenue), High Road and Ashfields.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of road whilst works are in progress.

2. The existing 7.5 tonne weight restriction on Ashfields, Watford from its junction with Aerodrome Way eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the High Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 120m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to use this length of road, whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BOREHAMWOOD, BUSHEY HEATH, ELSTREE, WATFORD AND CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Leeming Road, Borehamwood from its junction with the Brook Road/Gateshead Road roundabout north westwards to its junction with Aycliffe Road, a distance of approximately 123m.

An alternative route will be via Gateshead Road and Aycliffe Road.

2. that length of Windmill Lane, Bushey Heath from its junction with Clay Lane south westwards to its junction with Trundlers Way, a distance of approximately 441m.

An alternative route will be via Clay Lane, A411 Elstree Road, A4140 High Road and Windmill Lane or via Windmill Lane, A4140 High Road, A411 (High Road/Elstree Road) and Clay Lane.

3. that length of Hadley Close, Elstree from its junction with Nicholas Road south eastwards, north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

4. that length of Nicholas Road, Elstree from its junction with Alwyn Close north eastwards to its junction with Shiremead, a distance of approximately 115m. An alternative route will be via Nicholas Road, Wentworth Avenue, The Rise, Deacons Hill Road and Nicholas Road.

5. that length of Codicote Drive, Watford from its junction with Garston Lane north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

6. that length of New Parade, Chorleywood from its southernmost junction with Whitelands Avenue south westwards, north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 74m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

7. that length of Whitelands Avenue, Chorleywood from its junction with Shire Lane north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Blacketts Wood Drive, a distance of approximately 139m.

An alternative route will be via Shire Lane, Chalfont Lane and Blacketts Wood Drive.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Roman Gardens, Kings Langley from its junction with Station Road south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards, north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 391m ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
