(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2025

Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 –

(i)   prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic on Main St (from prop no. 68 to prop no. 88);

(ii)  prohibiting the waiting and loading of vehicles on Main St (north side – from prop no. 1 to prop no. 51; prop no. 69 to prop no. 81; and (south side – from prop no. 8 to prop no. 28; prop no. 68 to prop no. 70); and

(iii)  temporarily rescind the one-way traffic system on Main St between Harbour Wynd and Durham Wynd to allow two-way traffic to proceed.

The Order is to allow Scottish Gas works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 31/03/25 to 11/04/25 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic is via Durham Wynd, A915 and Harbour Wynd. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained.
