What is happening?

DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

WOODLANDS WAY, HURWORTH PLACE

Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

WOODLANDS WAY

From the eastern boundary of 45 Woodlands Way westwards to the western boundary of 41 Woodlands Way

The Order is necessary to allow works by Northumbrian Water to repair a sewer.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 19th May 2025, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 5 days.
