SPECIAL EVENTS – COMMENCING 21 APRIL 2025 UNTIL 30 JUNE 2025

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, is satisfied that traffic on the said Roads should be prohibited for the purpose of holding a number of social events and proposes to make an Order, the effect of which is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait along the lengths of Road as listed in the Schedule to this Order. Emergency vehicles and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

This Order permits Event Organisers to enter, for the purposes of holding their event, roads listed as closed in the Schedule to this Order and those areas listed as closed under the current Poole Quay/High Street Summer Closure Order.

The proposed Order will operate from 22 April 2025 and will continue in force up to and including 30 June 2025. Anticipated event dates and times are listed in the Schedule to this Notice, and could be subject to change, with updates being notified nearer the event date.

Church Street from Wick Lane eastwards. Church Lane. Quay Road from Church Lane to the Priory entrance.Rolling road closures to suit the parade and its dispersal between 1.30pm and 3.00pm, plus 4.00pm to 4.30pm.
Westbourne Wheels. BournemouthSaturday 10 May 2025Seamoor Road in its entirety, except for westbound traffic from Alumhurst Road. Alum Chine Road at its junction with Seamoor Road. Robert Louis Stevenson Avenue from its junction with Seamoor Road for 100 metres southwards. Partial revocation of one way in Seamoor Road for 35 metres west of the junction with Alum Chine Road to allow two way traffic for the Post Office.
