Derby Road, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Highway Improvement Works
What is happening?
BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL DERBY ROAD, BOURNEMOUTH -HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT WORKS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT:
- Road closed to all vehicles and
- No parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE: Derby Road -
WHEN:
Anticipated dates 24th March 2025 until 18th April 2025WHY: To facilitate highway improvement works by Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained and access to properties will be maintained depending on site safety
DIVERSION:
- Northern closure - exit Derby Road via remainder of Derby Road, Knyveton Road, St Swithin's Road and Christchurch Road and enter Derby Road via Christchurch Road, Knyveton Road, Derby Road
- Southern closure - via remainder Derby Road, Manor Road, Christchurch Road
