HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:
- Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 7fed Ebrill 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 7fed Ebrill 2025 a’r 1af Awst 2025.
- Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn caniatáu gwneud gwaith i’r Neuadd Sirol mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.
- Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau dros dro ran o Sgwâr Agincourt, Trefynwy, Sir Fynwy, o’r gyffordd gyda Stryd Mynwy am ~67m. System un ffordd i’w hatal dros dro ar Stryd Agincourt o’r gyffordd â Stryd Glendower er mwyn caniatáu gweithredu system ddwy ffordd dros dro i ganiatáu mynediad/allanfa i fusnesau a thrigolion.
- Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio ar gael fel a ganlyn: B4293 Sgwâr Agincourt, B4293 Stryd y Priordy, A466 Stryd Monk, A466 Stryd Whitecross, A466 Sgwâr Sant Iago, A466 Stryd Sant Iago, Stryd Almshouse, Stryd Glendower.
- Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dro Sgwâr Agincourt, Trefynwy, Sir Fynwy.
- Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
- The Order shall come into operation on the 7th of April 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 7th April 2025 and 3rd August 2025.
- The order is necessary for Shire Hall refurbishment works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.
- The effect of the order will be to temporarily close a section of Agincourt Street, Monmouth, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Monnow Street for ~67m. One-way system to be temporarily suspended on Agincourt Street from its junction with Glendower Street to allow for a temporary two-way system to be implemented to allow access/egress for businesses and residents
- A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:- B4293 Agincourt Square, B4293 Priory Street, A466 Monk Street, A466 Whitecross Street, A466 St James Square, A466 St James Street, Almshouse Street, Glendower Street.
- This order may be cited as the Agincourt Street, Monmouth, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025
- By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
