What is happening?
Temporary Road Closure – B3048 Stoke Lane, Hurstbourne Priors, Basingstoke
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of B3048 Stoke Lane between a point approximately 180 Metres South of its junction with Harroway and a point approximately 1.14km North of its junction with B3400 Andover Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3400, A3093, A343, Church Street, B3048
DURATION OF ORDER: from 4th April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out pole testing works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk
Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
