Hampshire County Council - Multiple Road temporary closures due to Eastleigh 10k Road Race

Temporary Road Closure – Various Roads / Eastleigh / Eastleigh 10k Road Race / 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Eastleigh 10k Road Race to take place on the Sunday 23rd March 2025.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: Those parts of the following roads:

  1. Passfield Avenue between its junction with Chestnut Avenue and its junction with Leigh Road.
  2. Woodside Avenue between its junction with Leigh Road and its junction with Twyford Road.
  3. Chamberlayne Road between its junction with Woodside Avenue and its junction with Twyford Road.
  4. Twyford Road between its junction with Chamberlayne Road and its junction with Woodside Avenue.
  5. Derby Road between its junction with Passfield Avenue and its junction with Desborough Road.
  6. Desborough Road between its junction with Derby Road and its junction with Chestnut Avenue.
  7. Chestnut Avenue between its junction with Desborough Road and its junction with Passfield Avenue.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:

  1. Chestnut Avenue, Bournemouth Road, Southampton Road.

DURATION OF ORDER: On Sunday 23rd March 2025 between the hours 08:30 – 10:30 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.

The Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of Eastleigh 10k Road Race.

Reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises will be provided as well as provide notice to those directly affected while the event is being carried out.
