What is happening?

(Footpath 64, Coggeshall) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close the Footpath 64, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree from East Street, south for approximately 104 meters.The closure is scheduled to commence on 24 March 2025 to 31 May 2025 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the new development is completed. The footpath will be resurfaced during this period.
Alternative route:
will be via a temporary route through the development site.The Order will come into effect on 24 March 2025 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.

Notice is hereby given
that the Colchester City Council as the lead authority in the North Essex Parking Partnership, itself an agency acting for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order relating to the fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 7th April 2025.The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees for On-Street Parking, Exemptions and Permits – all other fees and charges in the Order will continue at their existing rates. Existing and proposed charges are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Braintree and Bocking in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Coldnailhurst Avenue for a distance of approximately 35m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th April 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010677367-1 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial reinstatement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.An alternative route is available via Broad Road, Convent Hill, Broad Road Roundabout, High Garrett, Gosfield Road, Braintree Road, The Street, Hedingham Road, Braintree Road, Queen Street, Potter Street, Swan Street, Yeldham Road, Crouch Green, Yeldham Road, Hedingham Road, Poole Street, High Street, Church Road, Ridgewell Road, Mill Road, Chapel Road, The Causeway, Four Ash Hill, Ridgewell Road, Baythorne End, Sturmer Road, Haverhill, The Street, Rowley Hill, Rowley Hill Roundabout, Haverhill Bypass, Bumpstead Road Roundabout, Bumpstead Road, Haverhill Road, Chapel Street, Finchingfield Road, Cornish Hall End, Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End, The Causeway and vice versa with access only into Church Lane, Church Street, Bovingdon Road, Beazley End, Murdochs Hill, Oak Hill, Gosfield Road, Sandhill Lane, Braintree Road, Silver Street, Masefield Finchingfield Road and Wethersfield Road, Church Hill).
The Order will come into effect on 20th March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Elliot Drive, Braintree & Bocking)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Elliot Drive, Braintree and Bocking in the District of Braintree from its junction with Springwood Drive for a distance of approximately 65m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd March 2025 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01464507780 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while DMA replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.No alternative route is available for this closure.
The Order came into effect on 6th March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
