ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 - KIRKLEES COUNCIL
(UPPERHEAD ROW/GEORGE STREET/HALF MOON STREET/ DUNDAS STREET/SERGEANTSON STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the lengths of Upperhead Row/George Street/Half Moon Street/Dundas Street/Sergeantson Street, Huddersfield from its junctions with Westgate to its junction with Market Street. Any vehicles on Half Moon Street will be allowed to turn and travel down towards Wesgate, the one way flow will be rescinded PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Westgate, Castlegate, Market Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday 16 March 2025 and remain in force until 24 March 2025. Working hours will be between 17:30 on Sundays until 05:00 on Mondays (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PIKE LAW LANE, SCAPEGOAT HILL, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Pike Law Lane, Scapegoat Hill from its junction with High to its junction with Pike Law Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via High Street, Slaithwaite Gate, Pike Law Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 21 March 2025 and remain in force until 22 March 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LONG TONGUE SCROG LANE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Long Tongue Scrog Lane, Huddersfield from a point outside property no. 85 Long Tongue Scrog Lane for approximately 120 metres West along Long Tongue Scrog Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 19 March 2025 and remain in force until 20 March 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(MARSDEN LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Marsden Lane, Slaithwaite, from its junction with Crow Trees Road to its junction with Holme Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Crow Trees Road, West Slaithwaite Road, Manchester Road, Britannia Road, Church Street, Nabbs Lane, Holme Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 19 March 2025 and remain in force until 21 March 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(MOOR HILL ROAD, SALENDINE NOOK, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moor Hill Road, Salendine Nook, from its junction with Maplin Avenue to a point outside property no. 240 Moor Hill Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Moor Hill Road, Cowrakes Road, West Street, Lidget Street, Acre Street, New Hey Road, Moor Hill Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 17 March 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day between the hours of 19:00 to 23:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BULAY ROAD, THORNTON LODGE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bulay Road, Thornton Lodge at a point outside property no. 3 Bulay Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Swan Lane, Lockwood, from its junction with Dockery to its junction with Meltham Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bridge Street, Slaithwaite from its junction with Britannia Road to its junction with Platt Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Platt Lane, New Street, Carr Lane, Britannia Road and vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Water Street, Lockwood, from its junction with Lockwood Road to its junction with Albert Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Albert Street, Bridge Street, Lockwood Road, Bath Street, Albert Street - clockwise only from Bridge Street.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 17 March 2025 and remain in force until 20 May 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Crowther Street, Lockwood from its junction with Lockwood Road to its junction with Albert Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence Monday 17 March 2025 on and remain in force until 20 May 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(FOOTPATH COL/184/60, MARSDEN, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Footpath COL/184/60, Marsden from Footpath COL/181/20 to Ashton Binn PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Footpath COL/182/10, footpath COL/182/20, Netherwood Lane, footpath COL/181/20 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on 19 March 2025 to follow on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice dated 25 February 2025 and will remain in force until 26 August 2025 (Any further extension will require the permission of the Secretary of State).
(SOUTH LANE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of South Lane, Holmfirth from its junction with Dunford Road to near its junction with Back Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via South Lane, Cinder Hills Road, Sandy Gate, Scholes Moor Road, Penistone Road, Dunford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 4 April 2025 and remain in force for until 8 April 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LEA LANE, NETHERTON, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lea Lane, Netherton from its junction with Cocking Steps Lane to a point outside property no. 83 Lea Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Kiln Hill, Slaithwaite from its junction with Britannia Road to a point outside property no 8 Kiln Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Burfitts Road, Oakes, from its junction with Oakes Road South to its junction with Willwood Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(LANE SIDE, KIRKHEATON, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lane Side, Kirkheaton, from approximately 150 metres from its junction with Long Tongue Scrog Lane to approximately 130 metres to its junction with Gawthorpe Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Lane Side, School Lane, Church Lane, Lascelles Hall Road, Highfield Lane, Gawthorpe Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 3 April 2025 and remain in force for one day between the hours of 09:00 till 17:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
