Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
B2024 Croydon Road, Westerham, TN16 1TY (TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow works on behalf of SGN to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit traffic to 30mph on part of B2024 Croydon Road, Westerham between Farley Lane and Greencroft Farm Cottages.
Works are planned from 27th March 2025, with estimated completion by 10th April 2025.
Billet Hill, Ash, TN15 7HG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Billet Hill, Ash, on or after 25th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Conningdale and Pine Lodge.
The alternative route is via Billet Hill, The Street, South Ash Road, Ash Lane, A20 London Road, Fawkham Road, Brands Hatch Road, Fawkham Green Road and vice versa.
Butchers Lane, Ash, TN15 7HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Butchers Lane, Ash, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed near Olivers Farm.
The alternative route is via Butchers Lane, Chapel Wood Road, West Yoke and vice versa.
Castle Hill, Hartley, DA3 8EN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Hill, Hartley, on or after 25th March 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hurst Grove.
The alternative route is via Ash Road, Hartley Road, B260 Main Road, Fawkham Road and vice versa.
Eglantine Lane, Horton Kirby, DA4 9JL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of tree cutting for pole clearance, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eglantine Lane, Horton Kirby, on or after 26th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Oakview Farm Cottage.
The alternative route is via Rays Hill, The Street, Horton Road, Station Road, A225 Dartford Road, A20 London Road, Eglantine Lane and vice versa.
Farley Lane, Westerham, TN16 1RQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach cabling works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Farley Lane, Westerham, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between A25 Westerham Road and New Winterton.
The alternative route is via B2024 Croydon Road, A25 High Street/Westerham Road and vice versa.
Highlands Hill, Swanley, BR8 7LE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of resurfacing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Highlands Hill, Swanley, on or after 7th April 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed 100m either side of the new entrance to Bellway Homes site.
The alternative route is via Swanley Village Road, Button Street, A20 London Road/Broom Hill Roundabout, B2173 London Road/High Street, B258 Swanley Lane, Highlands Hill and vice versa.
Larkfield Road, Bessels Green, TN13 2QG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Larkfield Road, Bessels Green, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 40.
The alternative route is via Larkfield Road, Bessels Way, A25 Westerham Road and vice versa.
Mapleton Road, Four Elms, TN8 6PN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of overhead cable works and pole testing, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mapleton Road, Four Elms, on or after 9th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between B269 Pootings Road and Puddledock Lane.
The alternative route is via Mapleton Road, B2026 Hosey Common Road/Main Road, B269 Spout Lane/Pootings Road and vice versa.
Noahs Ark, Kemsing, TN15 6PG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a new gas service, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Noahs Ark, Kemsing, on or after 6th April 2025 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 14.
The alternative route is via Noahs Ark, Church Street, A25 High Street, School Lane, Childsbridge Lane, West End, St Ediths Road and vice versa.
Otford Lane, Halstead, TN14 7EB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of electric cable repair works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Otford Lane, Halstead, on or after 8th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hazel Cottage.
The alternative route is via Shoreham Road, Shoreham Lane, Badgers Mount Roundabout, A224 London Road/Polhill, Otford Lane and vice versa.
Rushmore Hill, Knockholt, TN14 7JH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of gas mains replacement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Rushmore Hill, Knockholt, on or after 9th April 2025 until 16th July 2025 or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
The alternative route is via Halstead Lane, Knockholt Road, Shoreham Road, Shoreham Lane, Badgers Mount Roundabout, A224 Orpington Bypass Road, A21 Sevenoaks Road, Rushmore Hill and vice versa.
Station Road, Halstead, TN14 7DD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of SGN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Station Road, Halstead, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Cock Inn.
The alternative route is via Shoreham Lane, Clarks Lane and vice versa.
Truggers Lane To Grove Road, Chiddingstone Hoath, TN8 7BT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Truggers Lane To Grove Road, Chiddingstone Hoath, on or after 8th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed near Hoath House.
The alternative route is via Truggers Lane To Grove Road, Hoath Corner To Oakenden Lane, Hoath Corner, Truggers Lane and vice versa.
Windmill Road, Sevenoaks Weald, TN14 6PD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Windmill Road, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 27th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside White Cottage.
The alternative route is via Glebe Road, Church Road, Windmill Road and vice versa.
Witches Lane, Riverhead, TN13 2AT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a traffic island upgrade, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Witches Lane, Riverhead, on or after 7th April 2025 for up to 15 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with A25 Worships Hill.
The alternative route is via A25 Worships Hill/The Square/London Road Roundabout/London Road, Bullfinch Lane, Witches Lane and vice versa.
Woodfields, Chipstead, TN13 2RH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Woodfields, Chipstead, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Westwold.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
