Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

MAIDSTONE AREA

 

B2010 Dean Street, Tovil, ME15 6XN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow new water connection to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2010 Dean Street, Tovil, on or after 8th April 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Farleigh Hill Development. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any northbound through traffic is via B2010 Dean Street, Dean Street, B2163 Heath Road, A229 Linton Road, A229 Loose Road, A229 Sheals Crescent, Old Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Farleigh Hill and B2010 Dean Street.

The alternative route for any southbound through traffic is via B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 College Road, A229 College Road, A229 Mill Street, A229 Palace Avenue, A229 Lower Stone Street, A229 Upper Stone Street, A229 Loose Road, A229 Linton Road, B2163 Heath Road, Dean Street and B2010 Dean Street.

 

B2163 Heath Road, West Farleigh (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2163 Heath Road, West Farleigh, on or after 28th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Charlton Lane to the junction of Upper Barn Hill, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2163 Heath Road, Dean Street, B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Station Hill, B2163 Ewell Lane and vice versa.

 

Albion Road, Marden, TN12 9DU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow drainage cleaning works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Albion Road, Marden, on or after 9th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Marden Tandoori and the junction of Stanley Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Albion Road, Plain Road, B2079 Goudhurst Road, B2079 West End, B2079 Church Green, B2079 High Street, Howland Road and vice versa.

 

Avery Lane, Langley (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Avery Lane, Langley, on or after 8th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Arnold Farm, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Back Street, Horseshoes Lane, A274 Sutton Road, New Road, Avery Lane and vice versa.

 

Bower Mount Road, Maidstone, ME16 8AJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow new electric connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bower Mount Road, Maidstone, on or after 7th April 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Methodist Church. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bower Mount Road, Cornwallis Road, Bower Street, A26 Tonbridge Road and vice versa.

 

Caring Road, Bearsted, ME17 1TH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Caring Road, Bearsted, on or after 8th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Caring Lane and the junction of Otham Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Caring Lane, A20 Ashford Road, Otham Lane and vice versa.

 

Cox Street, Detling (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cox Street, Detling, on or after 27th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from Barngarth Farm Cottage to the junction of White Hill Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via White Hill Road, Scragged Oak Road, Court Lane, Cox Street and vice versa.

 

Church Hill, Boughton Monchelsea, ME17 4GR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Hill, Boughton Monchelsea, on or after 8th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of B2163 Heath Road to the junction of Peens Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2163 Heath Road, A229 Linton Hill, Butt Green Lane, Church Hill and vice versa.

 

Horton Downs, Downswood, ME15 8TN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Horton Downs, Downswood, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 1, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.

 

Longend Lane, Collier Street (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Longend Lane, Collier Street, on or after 10th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Longends Bungalow, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Green Lane, B2162 Collier Street, Longend Lane and vice versa.

 

Matts Hill Road, Bredhurst (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow new ducting installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Matts Hill Road, Bredhurst, on or after 30th March 2025 for up to 23 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Woodview, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Kemsley Street Road, The Street, Maidstone Road, Deanwood Drive, Tyler Drive, Mierscourt Road, Matts Hill Road and vice versa.

 

Nursery Avenue, Allington, ME16 0HP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow new electric cable installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Nursery Avenue, Allington, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between number 2 and 10. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.

 

Station Hill, East Farleigh, ME15 0JE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow water connection repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Station Hill, East Farleigh, on or after 11th April 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Stone Shop. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any northbound through traffic is via Station Hill, B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Dean Street, B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Tovil Road, Old Tovil Road, A229 Hayle Road, A229 College Road, A229 Mill Street, A229 Bishops Way, A229 The Broadway, A20 The Broadway, A20 Tonbridge Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, Faleigh Lane, Farleigh Bridge, Station Hill.

The alternative route for any southbound through traffic is via Station Hill, Farleigh Bridge, Farleigh Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A20 Terrace Road, A20 London Road, A20 the Broadway, A229 The Broadway, A229 St Peters Bridge, A229 Fairmeadow, A229 Bishops Way, A229 Palace Avenue, A229 Lower Stone Street, A229 Upper Stone Street, A229 Sheals Crescent, Old Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Dean Street, B2010 Lower Road.

 

Stickfast Lane, Ulcombe, ME17 1HA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stickfast Lane, Ulcombe, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Little Jubilee Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ulcombe Road, Kings Road, A274 Mill Bank, A274 Maidstone Road, East Sutton Road, Stickfast Lane and vice versa.

 

The Street & Ulcombe Hill, Ulcombe, ME17 1GB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow drainage cleansing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Street & Ulcombe Hill, Ulcombe, on or after 10th April 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from Ulcombe CoE Primary School to The Gables, between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, Headcorn Road. Crumps Lane, Ulcombe Road, Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Headcorn Road, Lenham Road, Ulcombe Hill and vice versa.

 

Westerhill Road, Coxheath, ME17 4BX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Westerhill Road, Linton, on or after 27th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Amsbury Road to the junction of Barnes Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bon Fleur Lane, Redwall Lane, East Street, Hunton Hill, Amsbury Road and vice versa.
