The Essex County Council (Uttlesford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Colchester City Council as the lead authority for The North Essex Parking Partnership, itself acting as agents for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends, not less than twenty one days from the date of this notice, to vary the above Order relating to fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 07 April 2025.
The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees for On-Street Parking, Exemptions and Permits - all other fees and charges in the Order will continue at their existing tariffs. Existing and proposed charges are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

(Catmere End, Littlebury) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)
Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Catmere End, Littlebury in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 415m south east of its junction with Batts Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th April 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30081103979 -UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Strethall Road, Quickset Road, Ickleton Road, High Street, Essex Hill, Royston Road, Littlebury Green Road and vice versa (with access only into Catmere End, Batts Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 20th March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Farnham Road, Farnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Farnham Road, Farnham in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 365m south west then south east of its junction with Rectory Lane for a distance of approximately 635m in a north easterly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th April 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410252635FR - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fit stop tap and boundary box works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Farnham Road, Morbury Avenue, Rye Street, Hazelend Road, Bourne Road, Hazel End Lane, Mill Hill, Farnham Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hadstock Road, Little Walden in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 410m south east then north east of its junction with Petlands for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th April 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WG3D0T5VPTSB - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach. Alternative routes are available via:

(Various Roads, District of Uttlesford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.5) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Uttlesford as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Uttlesford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 20th March 2025, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burton End Road, Stansted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 555m north east then south east of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th March 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30017669750 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, Lower Street, Grove Hill, Stansted Road, Station Road, High Street, Hall Road and vice versa (with access only into Fullers Lane, Tye Green Road, Claypit Hill, Belmer Road, Burton End Road).

(Dunmow Road, Tilty/Duck Street, Great Easton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dunmow Road, Tilty/Duck Street, Great Easton in the District of Uttlesford, from the junction of The Endway to the junction of Tilty Grange Road a distance of approximately 1250m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th March 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2377057 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Tilty Grange Road, Maltings Bridge Lane, Muscombs Lane, Broxted Road, Duck Street and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Limekiln Lane, Stansted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 125m north west of its junction with Pines Hill for a distance of approximately 120m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th March 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WFPW6J2D - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Limekiln Lane, Pines Hill, Silver Street, Bentfield Road, Bentfield End Causeway, Bentfield Green and vice versa.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Over Hall Lane, Ashdon in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 40m south east of its junction with Steventon Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th March 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008VKW456EA26MAR - Openreach).
