What is happening?

(Laindon Common Road, Little Burstead)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the Order:
To temporarily close that length of Laindon Common Road, Little Burstead in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 65m southwest of its junction with Broomhills Close for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th April 2025 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WFJCR32D – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole installation works are undertaken by Openreach.Alternative routes are available via:
The Order will come into effect on 20th March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Laindon Link, Basildon) (Temporary Introduction of a 30mph Speed Restriction) Order 2025

is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the Order:
To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction in that length of Laindon Link, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon from its junction with Great Knightleys for a distance of approximately 260m in a south easterly direction. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 7th April 2025 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231012544A – Hill Partnerships Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while temporary site access is provided by Hill Partnerships Ltd.The Order will come into effect on 20th March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Takely Ride, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the Order:
To temporarily close that length of Takely Ride, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Waldegrave to its junction with Takely End at a distance of approximately 150m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th April 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP2011EH2371990 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.Alternative routes are available via:

(Various Roads, Borough of Castle Point) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.7) Order 2025

is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the Order:
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 20th March 2025, with exact dates specified on One.Network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location, and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Canewdon View Road, Ashingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice
is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the Order:
To temporarily close that length of Canewdon View Road, Ashingdon in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Ashingdon Road for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th March 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30023018335 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.An alternative route is available via Ashingdon Road, Brays Lane, Golden Cross Road and vice versa (with access only into Canewdon View Road).
The Order came into effect on 6th March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.Effect of the Order:
To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Broadway Link Roundabout for a distance of approximately 240m in a south easterly direction (onslip only). The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th March 2025 for 8 nights (20:00–05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP021EH2369506 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council.An alternative route is available via Broadway Link Roundabout, Broadway Link, High Road Roundabout, High Road, London Road, Sadlers Farm Roundabout, Canvey Way.
The Order came into effect on 6th March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
