THE A303 TRUNK ROAD (LONGBARROW TO DEPTFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A303 trunk road in Wiltshire to allow resurfacing and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.

The works are expected to take place over night (21:00 to 06:00) and one weekend (21.00 Friday to 06.00 Monday) commencing on or after 31 March 2025 and be completed by 2 May 2025.

The effect of the Order will be to authorise the closure of the A303 eastbound and westbound between Longbarrow Roundabout and Deptford Junction and the eastbound entry slip road at Deptford Junction.

During the closures described above traffic would be diverted via junctions of the A303 and local roads.

Access to and from premises that are accessible from and only from the A303 would be maintained during the works.

The closures (which will not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles), and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.

The Order will come into force on 29 March 2025 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
