NOTICE 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order. In order for Swansea Council to undertake remedial works at the above location, it will be necessary to temporarily close the above footbridge intermittently to pedestrian footfall.

SCHEDULE - TEMPORARY BRIDGE CLOSURE
TRAFALGAR BRIDGE, MARINA, SWANSEA
Trafalgar Bridge from Pilot House Wharf, in a north-easterly direction to the footway that runs parallel with Kings Road, a distance of approximately 160 metres.
The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists will be via the footway that runs parallel with Kings Road, Sail Bridge, Somerset Place, East Burrows Road, Mannheim Quay, Swing Bridge, Abernethy Quay, Trawler Road and Pilot House Wharf, a distance of approximately 1.5 kilometres.
Similarly, this pedestrian/cyclist route will operate in the reverse direction.
The maximum duration of the order is 18-months and it is anticipated the closure will operate intermittently (when required) over this 18-month Order period effective from Monday 17th March 2025.
