PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(STUBBY LANE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Stubby Lane
in both directions between its junctions with
Castlebridge Road and Lichfield Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken on 18 March 2025 between the hours of 09:30
and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Lichfield Road, Broad Lane North,
Broad Lane South and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair/replacement of
a manhole frame/cover by Severn Trent Water.
