What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(LINTHOUSE LANE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of road:
* Linthouse Lane closed in both directions between its junctions with Springhill Road and Kitchen Lane. Vehicular Diversion route: Lichfield Road, Wood End
Road and vice versa. It is anticipated that the closure will operate from 17 March 2025 until 21 March 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
* Linthouse Lane closed in both directions between its junctions with Patrick Gregory Road and Griffiths Drive/Whitehouse Avenue. Vehicular Diversion route:
Lichfield Road, Wood End Road and vice versa. It is anticipated that the closure will operate from 24 March 2025 until 26 March 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on the dates stated above, between the hours stipulated.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of buildouts and traffic calming.
