Crabley Creek Level Crossing and Part of Crabley Lane - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic to Enable the Proposed Essential Track Maintenance Works

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL (CRABLEY CREEK LEVEL CROSSING AND PART OF CRABLEY LANE, SOUTH CAVE (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

East Riding ofYorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed over Crabley Creek Level Crossing or along Crabley Lane, South Cave for a distance of 20 metres either side of the level crossing. The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed essential track maintenance works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.

It is anticipated that the works will be completed Wednesday 19 March 2025 from 01.10 hours until 04.50 hours. There is no alternative route for traffic affected by the Order. The crossing and road will be closed to all traffic. The Order will commence 19 March 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
