U9503 GATACRE STREET BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Blyth in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 24th March 2025 until the 24th September 2025
Road Closures:
U9503 Maddison Street Blyth for its entire length of 185 metres
U9503 Gatacre Street Blyth for its entire length of 84 metres
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 24th March 2025 until the 28th March 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Wright Street, Regent Street and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out remedial works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
