(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Wansbeck District Public Footpath Number 17, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
Wansbeck District Public Footpath Number 17
From a point on the A196 road 30 metres north of the Rowing Club in a general south-westerly, easterly and south-easterly direction for a distance of 665 metres following the north bank of the River Wansbeck and passing under the North Seaton Viaduct to a point on the U6574 footway immediately south-west of Curlew Close.
There is no alternative route.
The Order is to be effective from the 17th March 2025 until the 17th May 2025.

The closure has been requested by United Living Infrastructure Services in the interests of public safety to facilitate works to install a new water main.
