B1523 PLESSEY ROAD BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1523 Plessey Road Blyth for a distance of 8 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd April 2025 until the 4th April 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from 23:50 hours on the 3rd April 2025 until 06:00 hours on the 4th April 2025 during this period.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B1523, A193, A1061 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management on behalf of Network Rail for annual level crossing tests. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
