Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Wittering Ford Road, Barnack, Peterborough Ref: 25-282
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Wittering Ford Road, Barnack, as lies between Mill Farm and Mill House Farm Cottages. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited
due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are: 1. Turning off the A1 Southbound – The Green Drift. 2. Turning onto the A1 Southbound – Heath Road, The Green Drift and A1. The proposed order will come into force on the 17/03/2025 and will continue until the new water mains works have been completed or until the 16/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Un-named access road from Bishops Road that serves the Regional Fitness and Indoor Swimming Centre Pool and car park and PROW footpath 44 Ref: 25-303
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Un-named access road from Bishops Road that serves the Regional Fitness and Indoor Swimming Centre Pool and car park and PROW footpath 44. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: No route for vehicles. Route for PROW footpath 44 is via Bishops Road. The proposed order will come into force on the 17/03/2025 and will continue until the demolition works have been completed or until the 16/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 17/03/2025 and the 16/09/2025. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Church Street, Northborough Ref: 25-294
To extend the previous notice, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Church Street, Northborough, as lies between Lincoln Road and 3 Church Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic
should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Lincoln Road, Deeping St James Road, Peakirk Road and vice versa. The proposed order came into force on the 03/03/2025 and will continue until the emergency sewer works have been completed or until the 02/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – King Street, Lolham, Maxey, Peterborough Ref: 25-307
To extend the previous notice, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as King Street, Lolham, Maxey, as lies between High Street and B1443 King Street, Helpston. The Council is satisfied
that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1443 King Street, Helpston, West Street, Glinton Road, Helpston Road, A15, Maxey Road, High Street and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 18/03/2025 and will continue until the emergency bridge damage/unsafe structure repair works have been completed or until the 17/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the schedule. The proposed order
will come into force on the 24/03/2025 and will continue until the Micro surfacing and associated works have been completed or until the 23/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.

The City of Peterborough Glinton Road, Helpston, Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 Ref: 25-283
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Glinton Road, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of Helpston Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be
prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Glinton Rd, Maxey Rd, High St (Maxey), Maxey Rd, A15, Helpston Rd and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into force on the 22/03/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing inspection works have been completed or until the 21/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 23:00hrs and 09:00hrs from the 22/03/2025 to the 23/03/2025. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Uffington Road, Barnack as lies between points 20 metres either side of Uffington Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be
prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Uffington Road, A1175 Main Rd, Tallington Rd, B1443 Barnack Rd, Station Rd, Bainton Rd and
vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 23/03/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing inspection works have been completed or until the 22/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – A1139 Fletton Parkway J1 Westbound On Slip, Peterborough Ref: 25-285 The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as A1139 Fletton Parkway J1 Westbound On Slip, as lies between A1 J17 and A1139 Fletton Parkway J2. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Fletton Parkway Roundabout 1, Fletton Parkway Roundabout 1 Eastbound On Slip, A1139 Fletton Parkway, Fletton Parkway Roundabout 2 Eastbound Off Slip, Fletton Parkway Roundabout 2, Fletton Parkway Roundabout 2 Westbound On Slip and Fletton Parkway Westbound. The proposed order will
come into force on the 24/03/2025 and will continue until the signage works have been completed or until the 23/03/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 24/03/2025 to the 27/03/2025.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Oundle Road, Woodston, Peterborough Ref: 25-286
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Oundle Road, Woodston, as lies between Cubitt Way and A15 London Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to
proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via:
A15 London Road, Town Bridge, Rivergate, Bourges Boulevard, A1179 Thorpe Road, Longthorpe Parkway, A1260 Nene Parkway, A605 Oundle Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 27/03/2025 and will continue until the vegetation works have been completed or until the 26/03/2026, whichever is the earlier.

The City of Peterborough Paston Parkway Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 (Temporary Restriction of Through Traffic) Notice 2025 Ref: 25-308
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Paston Parkway, Junction 20 eastbound on slip for it’s entire length. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council
is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Paston Parkway westbound, off junction 21, Paston Parkway eastbound This notice is made in the interest of cut and patch works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 20/03/2025. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person

The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the schedule above. This notice is made in the interest of cut and patch works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from the 19/03/2025. It is anticipated that these works will take place
overnight between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs from the 19/03/2025 to the 20/03/2025. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform.
