CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

ALLERTON LANE, ALLERTON, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Allerton Lane, Allerton, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Allerton Lane from its junction with Hill Top Lane to its junction with Weymouth Avenue.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Allerton Lane (unaffected section), School Green, Thornton Road, Allerton Road, Cote Lane and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation on 08.00 hours on the 17th March 2025 and remains in force until 23.55 hours on the 4th April 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
