Drake Street, Bradford - Temporary Road Closure due to Telecommunication Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
DRAKE STREET, BRADFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Drake Street, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Drake Street from its junction with Hall Ings to the side of The Court building.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Drake Street (unaffected section), Bridge Street, Vicar Lane, Ebenezer Street, George Street, Leeds Road, Hall Ings and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 17th March 2025 and remains in force until 18:00 hours on the 25th March 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
