CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

HARROGATE ROAD, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction work proposed to be executed on or near Harrogate Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Harrogate Road from its junction with The Drive to its junction with Orchard Grove.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Harrogate Road (unaffected section), The Drive, Harrogate Road, Orchard Grove and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect on 08.00 hours on the 24th March 2025 and remain in force until 16.00 hours on the 26th March 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
