What is happening?

LICENSING ACT 2003 - PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT VUR Village Trading No. 1 Limited applied on 10th March 2025 to Reading Borough Council in respect of the premises known as:

Village Hotel Reading, Caversham Bridge, Richfield Avenue, Reading RG1 8EQ FOR THE GRANT OF A PREMISES LICENCE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Films (on premises) – Monday to Sunday – 07:00 to 02:00

  2. Recorded Music (on and off premises) – Monday to Sunday – 07:00 to 02:00

  3. Live Music (on and off premises) – Monday to Sunday – 07:00 to 02:00

  4. Dancing (on and off premises) – Monday to Sunday – 07:00 to 02:00

  5. Anything of a similar nature as above (on and off premises) – Monday to Sunday – 07:00 to 02:00

  6. Late Night Refreshment (on and off premises) – Monday to Sunday – 23:00 to 02:00

  7. Sale of Alcohol (on and off premises) – Monday to Sunday – 07:00 to 02:00

  8. Opening Hours – Monday to Sunday – 00:00 to 23:59

Under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 (Premises Licences & Club Premises Certificates) Regulations 2005, the above-named applicant has applied for the grant of a premises licence.

Any person wishing to view this application may do so at Reading Borough Council by prior arrangement between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please call 0118 9373762 to make an appointment or email licensing@reading.gov.uk.

Any person wishing to make a representation regarding this application must do so in writing within 28 days of the application date to:

Reading Borough Council, Licensing Section, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading RG1 2LU.

No written representations will have personal details removed unless the licensing authority deems it appropriate. Any request for personal details to be removed should be notified to the Licensing Authority at the time of making the representation.

I certify that a copy of this notice was displayed at or on the premises to which the application relates, where it could be conveniently read from the exterior of the premises for a period of 28 days from 11th March 2025 until 7th April 2025.
