What is happening?
THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL (CAMBRIDGE AVENUE) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION
AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 – TEMP/25/21
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate footway reconstruction works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Cambridge Ave, from Balfour St to Cambridge Gdns; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of: (i) Cambridge Ave, from Balfour St to Pilrig St; & (ii) Cambridge Gdns, from the north-western kerbline of Cambridge Ave, north-westwards for 25m. Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Balfour St & Cambridge Gdns. The order shall have effect from 17/3/25 to 13/6/25.
