What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

(CHRIST CHURCH (PELLON) C OF E (VC) PRIMARY SCHOOL) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough Council of Calderdale (‘the Council’) under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) made the above Order on 12 March 2025, the effect of which is to reproduce and continue in force indefinitely the provisions of the Borough Council of Calderdale (Christ Church (Pellon) C of E (VC) Primary School) Experimental Traffic Regulation Order 2023

(‘The Experimental Order’).

The Order will permanently continue in force the following restrictions that were introduced by the Experimental Order:

No motor vehicles shall proceed along the length of Back Plane Trees from its junction with Sandbeds Road to its termination point on Mondays to Fridays between 8.15am to 9.00am and 2.45pm to 3.30pm. The Order comes into force on 14 March 2025. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including the plan showing the affected road and the statement of reasons for the Experimental Order, are available for inspection at Halifax Central Library, Halifax, HX1 1QG, from 10.00am to 5.30pm on Mondays to Fridays and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Saturdays. Alternatively copies of the documents can be viewed on the Council’s website at https://new.calderdale. gov.uk/streets-and-transport/transport-initiatives/tro/ current-tro/christ-church-pellon-primary-school or can be made available on request via email proposedtro@ calderdale.gov.uk or by telephone 01422 288001 or 288002. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made (i.e. from 12 March

2025), apply to the High Court for that purpose.
