Order 2025

The Council on 7/3/2025 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on the following length of road. An 18 metre length of Edna Street/Ash Terrace, Bowburn from the side and to the rear of Number 2 Ash Terrace and Numbers 1 to 2 Edna Street to enable sewer repair works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of the closure, a diversion will be available to vehicular traffic to the front of Ash Terrace/A177 Durham Road. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence from 8am on Monday 17/3/2025 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for the closure may be necessary and these will be signed on site accordingly.
