(Fulking, Poynings and Upper Beeding: Various Roads)

(20 MPH, 30 MPH and 40 MPH Speed Limit) (And Consolidation) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has recently made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to enact recently installed 20 MPH, 30 MPH and 40 MPH speed limits on the following roads in Fulking, Poynings and Upper Beeding as follows: 20 MPH speed limits on: Poynings Road a) from a point 150M south of its southern junction with Saddlescombe Road, to its junction with The Street; b) from The Street, northwards to a point 65M north of Mill Close; The Street: from Poynings Road to a point 220M west of Dyke Close; throughout the entire lengths of Dyke Close, Dyke Lane, Mill Close and Mill Lane; and a 30 MPH speed Limit on Poynings Road from the roundabout at its junction with the A281 to the new 20 MPH speed limit described above; and

40 MPH speed limits on: Edburton Road from its junction with Henfield Road eastwards to the western terminal point of the existing 20 MPH speed limit in Fulking; Poynings Road/Fulking Road from the eastern terminal point of the existing 20 MPH speed limit in Fulking, eastwards to the western terminal point of the existing 30 MPH speed limit in Poynings.

The above restrictions were originally advertised as two separate traffic schemes but are being brought into effect by one combined order.

A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 17 March 2025, together with plans showing the affected lengths of road may be viewed on the WSCC website. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of this Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 6 March 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(East Grinstead: Holtye Road Amendment) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has recently made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to enact a

recently installed restriction prohibiting waiting at any time on the south-eastern side of Holtye Road in East Grinstead, from its junction with Barnfield Place, north-eastwards for 50M. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 17 March 2025, together with plans showing the affected lengths of road may be viewed on the WSCC website. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.

(Haywards Heath: Muster Green South)

(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close Muster Green South in Haywards Heath to eastbound traffic between Paddockhall Road and Dolphin Road. This restriction is needed to allow gas mains to be replaced in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 17 March 2025 and remain in force until 11 April 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
