LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE

The Redbridge (Prescribed Routes) (Amendment No. 4) Order 2025

The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, on 12 March 2025 made the above-mentioned Order, the effect of which will be to introduce on Cranbrook Road a ban on U-turn movements in both directions between a point 26 metres south of the southern kerb-line of York Road and a point 40 metres north of the northern kerb-line of Wellesley Road. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 17 March 2025, together with the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and plans indicating the location and the effect may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255 to 259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY Monday to Friday (except on Bank Holidays). Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
