ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(VARIOUS ROADS, NORTHAMPTON) (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2018 (AMENDMENT NO. 23) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 to 39 and 45 to 55 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) to amend “The Northamptonshire County Council (Various Roads, Northampton) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2018” as specified in the Schedule below.
A COPY of the Order may be inspected at Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Old Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northants, NN6 9BX at a time and date specified by appointment only by calling 01604 529700.
A copy of the Order can also be obtained on request by emailing WNCParkingenquiries@kier.co.uk 
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
The Order will become effective on 17th March 2025.

Moore Street, Northampton – On the south kerb to replace white ‘H’ bar at front of entrance to Industrial units. Berrywood Drive and Eleanor Row – Berrywood Drive, on East side from existing double yellow lines at Berrywood Hospital to junction of St Crispin Drive.
Junction protection of Eleanor Drive with Berrywood Drive to existing double yellow lines. The Smithy, Weston Favell – Junction protection, from cobble line onto the High Street. Upper Priory Street and Arundel Street – Upper Priory Street, North side corner of turning head across width of Curtis Instruments Ltd site. At adjacent site, from the start of kerb line going 10 metres West. Arundel Street, West side, connecting existing double yellow lines to Upper Priory Street. Hartburn Close and Jackdaw Close, Northampton – Extending from existing double yellow lines the length of the East kerb to entrance of Unit 3 Jackdaw Close. Junction protection of Hartburn Close to entrance of Unit 1, and to the rear of Unit 6 on the South kerb. Lancaster Way and Towcester Road – From Lancaster Way North kerb grassed area, to No. 192 Towcester Road. Southampton Road and Penrhyn Road – Southampton Road
South kerb from No. 183 to junction white line. Penrhyn Road, junction
protection to cover raised table up to No.41 Towcester Road and to cover
raised table up to 49 Towcester Road. Wooldale Road – adjoining zigzags going North of roundabout for 43 metres. Curtlee Hill – Junction protection, from zig-zags onto Wootton Hope Drive. Kent Road, Upton, Northampton – Both sides of junction, West side, Dave Bowen Close and North-West onto Kent Road for 10 metres. South side of Kent Road between Howarth Way and Eden Road. On North side of Kent Road for 20 metres going West from No. 55. High Street, Upton, Northampton – Junction protection of Black Cat Street onto High Street. Junction protection of Webb Drive onto High Street. Junction protection of Parkside with High Street. Junction protection of West Street onto High Street.
Junction protection of High Street onto Scribers Drive. The Square, SouthEast side for 18 metres. Junction protection of High Street with Strobel Drive and corner of The Square. Strobel Drive, south side from No. 23 to 26. Junction protection from North-West junction of The Square onto High Street, and High Street, west side for 25 metres. Moore Street, Northampton – South side replace 10 meters of double yellow line. AMENDMENT TO NO WAITING AT ANYTIME
RESTRICTIONS (DOUBLE YELLOW LINES) TO PARKING BAY LIMITED
WAITING ‘8AM - 6PM, 30 MINS NO RETURN WITHIN 2 HOURS’
Moore Street, Northampton – North side, remove double yellow line and create a parking bay from ‘build out island’.
AMENDMENT TO NO WAITING AT ANYTIME RESTRICTIONS
(DOUBLE YELLOW LINES) AND NO WAITING ‘8AM - 6PM, MON TO SAT’
St Georges Street, Northampton – Removal of parking restrictions on the North, South, East and West sides in the ‘turning head’.
LOADING ONLY BAY ‘MON - SUN 10AM - 7PM’
Clare Street, Northampton – Outside of Alam Supermarket 95 Clare Street going East to join existing double yellow lines.
AMENDMENT TO ‘SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR MARKINGS’ ‘NO STOPPING
ON ENTRANCE MARKINGS 8AM - 9AM AND 3PM - 4PM MON - FRI’
St Davids Road, Northampton – ‘School Keep Clear’ road marking.
