THE NEWHAM (STRATFORD) (PARKING PLACES) (NO. 1, 2014)

(AMENDMENT NO. 30) ORDER 2025

THE NEWHAM (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION)

(AMENDMENT NO. 190) ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham on 10 March 2025 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be:

a) to convert 10 metres of permit holder parking places on the north-east side of Faringford Road (opposite the north-western wall of No. 10 Aldworth Road) to waiting and loading restrictions operating at any time (double yellow lines and double kerb blips); and

b) to convert 19 metres of waiting restrictions operating Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm in Elliot Close to waiting and loading restrictions operating at any time (double yellow lines and double kerb blips).

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 17 March 2025 and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection by appointment during normal office hours at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road E16 2QU, by telephoning 020 3373 6415 or by emailing traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.

4. If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
