Blackford Road - Temporary Road Closure For New Connection Works

Temporary Closure of Blackford Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Blackford Road - from 50 metres north of the junction with Violet Lane, northwards for a total distance of 90 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works.
The Order becomes effective on 27th March 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 30th March 2025 and last until 4th April 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 6 days.
