NOTICE OF MAKING

WELWYN HATFIELD BOROUGH COUNCIL

THE BOROUGH OF WELWYN HATFIELD (CAMPUS WEST) (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2022 (AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (pursuant to arrangement made with Hertfordshire County Council) has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to introduce restrictions in Campus West Car Park, Welwyn Garden City as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order will come into effect on Tuesday 1 April 2025.

A copy of the Order and associated documents may be viewed at https://www.welhat.gov.uk/parking-consultations, or upon appointment during reception opening hours at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, The Campus, Welwyn Garden City Wednesday 12 March 2025 until Thursday 24 April 2025.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

SCHEDULE 1: Insert an article relating to

Provision for disabled badge holders 3 hour free maximum parking period when displaying a valid disabled person’s badge and parking disc clock in the following pay and display car park: Campus West.
