ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(ABBEYSTEAD LANE, DOLPHINHOLME, LANCASTER CITY) (REVOCATION AND 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 27 February 2025 Lancashire County Council made the above Speed Limit Order under Section 84 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke "The County Council of Lancashire (Restricted Roads) (No.5) Order 1977" in full.
2. Introduce a 30mph speed limit on Abbeystead Lane, Dolphinholme, from a point 57 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Gleaves Hill Lane for a distance of 130 metres in a westerly direction.
This Order will come into force on the 17 March 2025. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Lancaster City Council, Town Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster, LA1 1PJ, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
