C89 EDLINGHAM JUNCTION TO BOLTON JUNCTION EDLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C89 Edlingham Junction to Bolton Junction from its junction with the C90 for a distance of 3310 metres in a southerly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 7th April 2025 until the 19th September 2025.
It is expected that the road will be closed at all times.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C90, U3056, B6341, C89 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by United Living on behalf of Northumbrian Water to install new 125mm water main using directional drilling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
