ROAD: STAVELEY AND STAVELEY ROAD: DUCKMANTON)
(40MPH, 50MPH SPEED LIMIT AND RESTRICTED ROAD (30MPH))
TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that, on the 6th Day of March 2025 the Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on the seventeenth day of March 2025 and its effect is to introduce:
RESTRICTED ROAD (30MPH)
Inkersall Green Road, Inkersall
From its junction with the A619 Chesterfield Road in a southerly then south easterly direction to a point 118 metres east of its junction with Avondale Road.
Inkersall Road, Staveley
From its junction with the A619 Market Street in a southerly direction to a point 80 metres south of its junction with Cemetery Lane.
40 MPH SPEED LIMIT
Staveley Road, Duckmanton
From its junction with the A632 Chesterfield Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 150 metres.
Inkersall Road, Staveley
From a point 310 metres south of its junction with Inkersall Green Road to a point 273 metres north of its junction with Inkersall Green Road.
From a point 80 metres south of its junction with Cemetery Lane to a point 50 metres south of its junction with Aspire Way.
Inkersall Green Road, Inkersall
From a point 118 metres east of its junction with Avondale Road in an easterly direction to its junction with Inkersall Road.
50 MPH SPEED LIMIT
Staveley Road, Duckmanton and Inkersall Road, Staveley
From a point 150 metres north of its junction with the A632 Chesterfield Road to a point 310 metres south of its junction with Inkersall Green Road.
Inkersall Road, Staveley
From a point 273 metres north of its junction with the Inkersall Green Road to a point 50 metres south of its junction with the Aspire Way.
The opportunity will be taken to incorporate, into the made order, existing speed restrictions already in place and unaltered by this proposal.
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, will be revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall, Smedley Street, Matlock between 9am and 5pm on each day from Monday to Friday and on request by emailing

until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 17th April 2025.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 6th March 2025 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
