What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Edward Avenue, Stenhousemuir from 08:00 until 18:00 on 14/03/25. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Edward Avenue, Stenhousemuir from a point adjacent to Canmore Drive in a westerly direction for approximately 30 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Margaret Terrace, Muirhead Road, Edward Avenue or vice versa.

Kinneil Mill Road, Bo’ness from 07:30 hours on 17/03/2025 until 17:00 hours on 24/03/2025 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.

1. This Order temporarily closes Kinneil Mill Road, from its junctions with the A803 to its junction withA706
2. The alternative route is: A803, A706 (St Ninians Road) and vice versa

Wester Shieldhill Road, Shieldhill from 07:30 hours on 17/03/2025 until 17:00 hours on 28/03/2025 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.

1. This Order temporarily closes Wester Shieldhill Road, from its junction with Falkirk Road to its junction with C2.
2. The alternative route is: C2, Elim Drive, Main Street, Cross Brae, B8028, Falkirk Road and vice versa
