U4090 THE CROFT WHITTINGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U4090 The Croft, Whittingham from its junction with Lemmington Bank heading in a northerly direction for a length of 110 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 7th April 2025 until the 7th October 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 7th April 2025 until the 8th April 2025 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 7th October 2025
There is no alternative route available.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
