C125 LONGHIRST JUNCTION
TO POTLAND ROUNDABOUT LONGHIRST
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C125 Longhirst Junction to Potland Roundabout 10 metres either side of the level crossing for a total length of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 24th March 2025 until the 25th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from 23:30 hours on the 24th March 2025 until 05:30 hours on the 25th March 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1337, A197, C126 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management Ltd to lift out level crossing to allow PL Tamper to work through. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
