PUBLIC NOTICE

LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

The Bromley (Loading Places) Order 2009 (Amendment No. ) Order 202.

(High Street, Beckenham)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order would be to introduce a loading bay in High Street, Beckenham as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the proposed Order, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by email to TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/T785 not later than 26th March 2025.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

SCHEDULE:-

LOADING BAY

Goods Vehicles Loading Only – between 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday – 1 hour maximum stay – no return 2 hours.

HIGH STREET, Beckenham (a) the south side, from a point 14.2m east of the western boundary of Kelsey House eastwards for a distance of 17.3m
