What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(CHILD LANE, ROBERTTOWN, LIVERSEDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Child Lane, Roberttown at a point outside property no. 92 Child Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Child Lane, Lumb Lane, Huddersfield Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 31 March 2025 and remain in force until 2 April 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WESTGATE/MOORSIDE/MOORBOTTOM/ST PEG LANE/SPEN BANK/SPEN LANE, CLECKHEATON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Westgate/ Moorside/Moorbottom/St Peg Lane/Spen Bank/Spen Lane, Cleckheaton from its junction with Sycamore Drive to Greenside and Parkside to Oxford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Dewsbury Road, Bradford Road, Leeds Road, Halifax Road, Moorside.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 31 March 2025 18.00 hours and remain in force until 11 April 2025 0:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(FOOTPATH SPE/177, CLECKHEATON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath  an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Footpath SPE/177, Cleckheaton from Kenmore View to Kenmore Drive PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.

Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Milton Terrace, Vine Street, Whitcliffe Road, Kenmore Road, Kenmore Drive, Kenmore View, Kenmore Avenue, Rooks Avenue - Vice Versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on 19 March 2025 to follow on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice dated 26 February 2025 and will remain in force until 30 June 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).

(JACKSON’S LANE, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Jackson’s Lane, Dewesbury  to its junctions with Whitley Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Jackson’s Lane and Whitley Road. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 17 March 2025 08:00 hours and remain in force for until 21 March 2025 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CHIDSWELL LANE, SHAW CROSS, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 4) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Chidswell Lane, Shaw Cross, at a point opposite Boundary End Cottage to a point opposite property no. 100 Chidswell Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles/ affected by the closure will be available via Chidswell Lane, Windsor Road, Owl Lane, Leeds Road, Pickering Lane, Chidswell Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 17 March 2025 and remain in force until 28 March 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to18 months if necessary).
