What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE C225 ROAD FROM ARLINGHAM TO THE REDDINGS LODGE (ARLINGHAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C225 Road from Arlingham to the Reddings Lodge from its junction with ‘Milton End’ to outside of the property known as ‘Rasher Farm’ for a distance of approximately 135 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed from 19th March 2025 until 21st March 2025 between the hours of 10:00am to 14:30pm daily only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/.
Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, and emergency access, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 407504 BISLEY ROAD (STROUD TOWN AND PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407504 Bisley Road from its junction with Valley View Road to its junction with Mason Road for a distance of approximately 470 metres.
The reason for the closure is for pole replacement works.

The reason for the closure is for gas service and maintenance works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401494 Downend Road from outside the property known as ‘Sunnyside’ to outside the property known as ‘Whiteway’ for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for reconstruction works to a damaged retaining wall.

The reason for the said closure is for street lighting replacement works.

- The closures and restrictions will occur on a rolling programme commencing 1st April 2025.
- Approved signage will indicate whether a closure is in effect at any given time.
- Advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on-site before closures take effect.
- The order allows roads to be closed in any order or simultaneously as needed.
- All works are expected to be completed by 31st March 2026.
