What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(HIGHFIELD LANE, EXMOUTH) ORDER 2025

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 7/4/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 12/4/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: HIGHFIELD LANE, EXMOUTH. The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - RADDENSTILE LANE, LONG CAUSEWAY, CLAREMONT GROVE, RADDENSTILE LANE & VICE VERSA. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: EXCAVATE IN ROAD & TRENCH 10M UP ROAD TO JOIN WITH CUSTOMERS DUCT FOR NEW CONNECTION. For additional information contact: NATIONAL GRID.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING/LOADING & UNLOADING

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 17/3/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 28/3/25. No person shall except upon the direction or with permission of a Police Officer in uniform or of a Civil Enforcement Officer cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load & unload at any time on any day on any of the lengths of road specified above. Roads affected: ROLLE STREET, EXMOUTH, (BETWEEN THE STRAND & MARKET STREET). This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: FOOTWAY WORKS.
