Bracknell Forest, Temporary Road Closures For Resurfacing Works

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, BRACKNELL, BINFIELD, CROWTHORNE, WARFIELD & WINKFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in the direction stated along the following lengths of road:

1. B3034 Sunninghill Road, between Longhill Road and the Borough boundary for its whole length in both directions.

   • The diversion route for this closure will be via B3034 Buckhurst Road, A329 London Road, B3024 Winkfield Road, A332 Windsor Road, or this route in reverse.

2. Old Wokingham Road, Bracknell between Waterloo Road and B3430 Nine Mile Ride, for its whole length in both directions.

   • The diversion route for this closure will be via Peacock Lane, Ellesfield Avenue, A3095 Mill Lane, A3095 Crowthorne Road, B3430 Nine Mile Ride or this route reversed.

3. Easthampstead Road, Wokingham, at the junction with Old Wokingham Road, in both directions.

   • The diversion route will be via Easthampstead Road, Heathlands Road, and B3430 Nine Mile Ride, to join the Easthampstead Road diversion above, or this route reversed.

4. Bottle Lane, Warfield, between Howe Lane and A3095 Maidenhead Road, for its whole length in both directions.

   • The diversion route for this closure will be via A3095 Maidenhead Road, B3014 Forest Road, B3018 Twyford Lane, B3018 Church Lane, B3018 Church Hill, Howe Lane, or this route reversed.

5. Opladen Way, Bracknell, between Bagshot Road A322 (Sainsburys roundabout) and Harmans Water Road, for its whole length in both directions.

   • The diversion route for this closure will be via Opladen Way, A322 Bagshot Road, Opladen Way, or this route reversed.

6. B3034 Warfield Street, Warfield Green, between Newell Green and Jigs Lane North, for its whole length in both directions.

   • The diversion route for the resurfacing patching works will be via A3095 Forest Road, Maidenhead Road, A330 Ascot Road, Kingscroft Lane, Cocks Lane, B3022 Bracknell Road, or this route reversed.

7. Winkfield Lane, Winkfield between A330 Maidens Green and Drift Road, for its whole length in both directions.

   • The diversion route for this closure will be via Drift Road, B3022 North Street, A330 Pigeonhouse Lane, A330 Church Road, A330 Maidens Green and Winkfield Lane, or this route in reverse.

8. Pigeonhouse Lane and North Street, Winkfield, between Winkfield Lane and Crouch Lane, for its whole length in both directions.

   • The diversion route for this closure will be via B3022 North Street, B383 Mounts Hill, Peatmoor Roundabout, A332 Windsor Road, A330 Winkfield Road, B3034 Forest Road, B3017 Chavey Down Road, Winkfield Road, B3022 Bracknell Road, A330 Maidens Green, or this route reversed.

9. Ascot Road, Warfield, at the junction with Pigeonhouse Lane and North Street.

   • The diversion route for this closure will be via B3022 North Street, A330 Winkfield Road, or this route reversed.

10. B3034 Forest Road, Winkfield, between John Nike Way and Binfield Road.

• The diversion route for this closure will be via B3408 London Road, Coppid Beech Roundabout, London Road, John Nike Way, Cain Road, Western Road and B3408 Wokingham Road, or this route in reverse.

Access will be maintained where possible for residents and businesses affected by this Order.

The purpose of this Order is to enable works to be executed on the road namely Inlay resurfacing and Surface Dressing carriageway resurfacing works and associated pre-patching work.

The proposed Order will come into operation on the 27th March 2025 and its maximum duration will be 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever shall be the earlier. It is currently anticipated that the works above will commence on 27th March 2025 continuing until September 2025. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
