What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(BOWER LANE, EATON BRAY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Bower Lane, Eaton Bray between High Street and Medley Close.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway resurfacing work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 31 March to 2 April 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Totternhoe Road, Castle Hill Road, Church Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 31 March 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(SUNDON ROAD, HARLINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Sundon Road, Harlington outside the church.

This temporary closure is required to enable meter exchange works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on 31 March 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Church Road, Manor Road, Streatley Road, Sundon Road, Sharpenhoe Road, Church Road, Luton Road, Sharpenhoe Road, Barton Road, Harlington Road, Barton Road, Church Road, Sundon Road and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on 31 March 2025 for a period of one month or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(CASTLE HILL ROAD, TOTTERNHOE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Castle Hill Road, Totternhoe outside number 217.

This temporary closure is required to enable an engineer safe access to the overhead and underground infrastructure and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on 3 April 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Castle Hill Road, Church Road, Dunstable Road, Bower Lane, High Street, Totternhoe Road, C228, Stanbridge Road and vice versa.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(MANOR ROAD, BARTON LE CLAY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Manor Road, Barton Le Clay between number 69 and 89.

This temporary closure is required to enable gully cleaning work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 14 to 18 March 2025 between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period. The alternative route for this closure is via Hexton Road, B655, Manor Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 14 March 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(BEDFORD ROAD, HOUGHTON REGIS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Bedford Road, Houghton Regis opposite Bidwell Farm Barns.

This temporary closure is required to enable new water connection works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 17 to 28 March 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via B5120, A5, A505, B5120 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 17 March 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
