ITO WAY, GILLINGHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and other associated highway works to be carried out

Ito Way, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic on the eastern (southbound) carriageway between the junction with Cornwallis Roundabout and the junction with Will Adams Roundabout. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Pier Road, Dock Road, The Brook, Chatham Hill and Watling Street.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 24 March 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 24 March 2025 and are programmed for completion within five consecutive nights (with works taking place between 8pm and 6am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

PINE GROVE, GILLINGHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a telephone pole to be replaced

Pine Grove, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontages of 16 to 129 Pine Grive. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Hempstead Road and Hemkpstead Valley Drive.

This Order will come into force on Thursday, 20 March 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 20 March 2025 and are programmed for completion within two days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

MAIDSTONE ROAD AND GIBRALTAR HILL, CHATHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable highway maintenance and road lining works to be carried out

Maidstone Road and Gibraltar Hill, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in Railway Street from the junction with Gibraltar Hill for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction and (b) in Gibraltar Hill from (but not including) the junction with Old Road to the junction with Railway Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Pattens Lane and City Way. The ‘No right turn’ restriftion from Pattens Lane on to Maidstone Road will be suspended whenever the road closures are in place.

This Order will come into force on Thursday, 27 March 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 27 March 2025 and are programmed for completion within two consecutive nights (with works taking place between 11.55pm and 5am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
