TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE C322 FOXHALL ROAD, IPSWICH, RUSHMERE ST ANDREW AND KESGRAVE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

  • The C322 Foxhall Road, Ipswich from Heath Road roundabout to Foxhall Road, Rushmere St Andrew

  • The C322 Foxhall Road, Rushmere St Andrew

  • The C322 Foxhall Road Kesgrave from Foxhall Road, Rushmere St Andrew to Bell Lane.

This is to facilitate carriageway works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1189, the A1214, Bell Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/03/2025 - 26/03/2025 from 7pm - 5am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C640 CONEY WESTON ROAD, BARNINGHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C640 Coney Weston Road, Barningham from 80 metres north of Hall Cottage for 50 metres northbound to facilitate remedial water main works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Coney Weston Road, Thetford Road, The Street, Hollow Lane, the B1111, Coney Weston Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/03/2025 - 12/03/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C608 ISLEHAM ROAD, WORLINGTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C608 Isleham Road, Worlington from 600 metres west of the junction with the B1102 for 100 metres westbound to facilitate the installation of an electrical supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Isleham Road, the B1102, Freckenham Road, Isleham Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/03/2025 - 16/03/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8221 NEWMANS GREEN, ACTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8221 Newmans Green, Acton from 270 metres west of the junction with Cuckoo Tye for 160 metres westbound to facilitate replacing telecommunication poles. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Newmans Green, Acton Lane, the A134 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 10/03/2025 from 9.30am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2401 Fordley Road, Middleton from 110 metres west of the B1122 for 240 metres westbound to facilitate vegetation clearance. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Littlemoor Road, the B1122 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/03/2025 - 14/03/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1117 WALPOLE ROAD, HALESWORTH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1117 Walpole Road, Halesworth from 20 metres west of the junction with Dukes Drive to the junction with Halesworth Road, Cookley to facilitate clearing blockages and clearing duct and chambers. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A144, the A12, the A1120, the B1116, the B1118, the B1117 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/03/2025 - 12/03/2025 from 10am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C672 VALLEY WASH, HUNDON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C672 Valley Wash, Hundon from Church Street for 55 metres north westbound to facilitate electrical works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Brockley Green Road, Kedington Road, Hundon Road, Mill Road, the B1061, the A143 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/03/2025 - 15/03/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1631 Mill Lane, Southwold to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Queen Street, Lorne Road, Gardener Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 10/03/2025 from 8am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF

THE A144 CHAUCER STREET, BUNGAY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A144 Chaucer Street, Bungay from the junction with Earsham Street to the Car Park to facilitate a new gas connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Earsham Street, Earsham Dam, The Street, the A143, the A144, Popson Street and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure, there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the A144 Chaucer Street, Bungay to allow access and egress.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/03/2025 - 12/03/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C651 THE STREET, TROSTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C651 The Street, Troston from Glebe Cottage for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate carriageway repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Heath Road, the A1088, Troston Road, New Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 10/03/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C624 High Street, Tuddenham from the junction with Tuddenham Road to the junction with The Green to facilitate carriageway and verge repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Tuddenham Road, the A14, the A1101, the A143, the A14, Road from A14 to The Street, The Street, Cavenham Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 19/03/2025 - 20/03/2025 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C556 HUNSTON ROAD, BADWELL ASH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C556 Hunston Road, Badwell Ash from the junction with Westley Way to the junction with Richer Road to facilitate the installation of a sewer and manhole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Hunston Road, Ixworth Road, Walsham Road, Woolpit Road, Stow Lane, the A1088, The Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/03/2025 - 28/03/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7101 NEW ENGLAND LANE

AND THE U7105 ATTLETON GREEN, COWLINGE AND WICKHAMBROOK

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

  • The U7101 New England Lane, Cowlinge

  • The U7105 Attleton Green, Wickhambrook from New England Lane to Mole Hill.

This is to facilitate pre-surface dressing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Attleton Green, Malting End, the road from the 7107 to the 7105, Farley Green, Wickhambrook, Capley Wood Lane, Newmarket Road, Cowlinge and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 19/03/2025 - 21/03/2025 from 8am - 4pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1115 HADLEIGH ROAD, NEDGING WITH NAUGHTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1115 Hadleigh Road, Nedging with Naughton from Hall Cottages for 100 metres southbound to facilitate telecommunications pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1115, the A1141, the B1115 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 09/03/2025 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF

THE B1115 HIGH STREET AND THE B1113 VARIOUS ROADS,

BILDESTON, NEEDHAM MARKET AND BADLEY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1115 High Street, Bildeston from no. 104 to no. 84 to facilitate replacing a manhole cover and frame. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1115, the B1078, the B1113, the A1308, the B1115 and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure, there will be a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the following roads:

  • The B1113 High Street, Needham Market

  • The B1113 Stowmarket Road, Needham Market

  • The B1113 Badley Hill, Badley

  • The B1113 Stowmarket Road, Badley.

It is intended that these measures will operate on 10/03/2025 from 7pm - 11pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C473 Hadleigh Road, Higham from Little Grange to Tea Caddy to facilitate a new electrical service. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Hadleigh Road, the B1068, Sandpits Lane, Bacons Green, the B1070, Highams Road, Lower Raydon, Higham Hill and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 19/03/2025 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the:

  • C756 Mill Street, Nayland with Wissington from the B1087 to Fen Street

  • C756 High Street, Nayland with Wissington from Fen Street to Church Lane.

This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be High Street, Court Street, Horkesley Road, the A134, the B1087 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 11/03/2025 from 8am - 6pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE, SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION AND

PROHIBITION OF WAITING ON PART OF THE C461 PAPER MILL LANE, B1113 HIGH STREET

AND BRAMFORD ROAD, C442 LOWER STREET AND C462 BURSTALL LANE, SPROUGHTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C461 Paper Mill Lane, Sproughton from 500 metres south of Bramford Road roundabout for 200 metres southbound to facilitate bridge repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1113, the B1067 and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the:

  • B1113 High Street, Sproughton

  • B1113 Bramford Road, Sproughton from High Street for 15 metres northbound.

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the:

  • C442 Lower Street, Sproughton from the B1113 for 60 metres eastbound

  • C462 Burstall Lane, Sproughton from the B1113 for 60 metres westbound

  • B1113 High Street, Sproughton from Lower Street for 320 metres southbound

  • B1113 Bramford Road, Sproughton from Lower Street for 30 metres northbound.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 10/03/2025 - 15/03/2025 from 8pm - 6am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE, SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY AND PROHIBITION OF WAITING

AND SUSPENSION OF PARKING BAYS ON PART OF THE B1079 NEW STREET AND

ST JOHNS STREET, U3630 CHAPEL STREET AND ST JOHNS HILL, WOODBRIDGE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases (phase 2 will commence on completion of phase 1):

  1. Phase 1:

    • B1079 New Street, Woodbridge from the junction with Church Street to the junction with St Johns Hill

    • U3630 Chapel Street, Woodbridge from no. 4 to the junction with New Street

  2. Phase 2:

    • B1079 New Street, Woodbridge from the junction with Church Street to Little St Johns Street

    • B1079 St Johns Street, Woodbridge from the junction with New Street to the junction with Vicarage Hill

    • U3630 St Johns Hill, Woodbridge from the junction with New Street to the junction with Castle Street.

This is to facilitate fibre network installation. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Resident Access and Emergency services will be maintained from the junction with Church Street to no. 46 New Street. There will be no vehicle access to residents and emergency services between no. 46 New Street and the junction with St Johns Hill.

The diversion routes will be:

  1. Market Hill, Theatre Street, Burkitt Road, the A12, Woods Lane, Melton Road, Melton Hill, Thoroughfare, St Johns Street, Vicarage Hill, St Johns Hill with no vice versa.

  2. St Johns Street, Little St John Street, Thoroughfare, Melton Hill, Melton Road, Woods Lane, the A12, Burkitt Hill, Theatre Street, Market Hill, Bredfield Street, Angel Lane, Castle Street with no vice versa.

  • For the duration of this closure, there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the B1079 St Johns Street, Woodbridge for Heavy Goods Vehicles only, this will be marshalled by traffic management operatives.

  • For the duration of phase 1 of this closure, there will be a suspension of parking in the parking bays on the B1079 New Street, Woodbridge.

  • For the duration of phase 2 of this closure, there will be a suspension of parking on the B1079 St Johns Street, Woodbridge.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 10/03/2025 - 06/04/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5955 Grove Lane, Elmswell from the junction with Hulver Close for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate repairing a water defect. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Ashfield Road, Elmswell Road, School Road, Daisy Green, Wetherden Road, Upper Town and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/03/2025 - 13/03/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
